Sandro holds a degree in Physics and he worked as a researcher and professor at the University of Barcelona as well as at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. At the end of his studies he joined Digital-Text, a company specialised in digital educational resources. Later on he was a coordinator responsible for the content of this company and it allowed him to become within a time a specialist in the use of ICT for learning. In January 2012 he returned to teaching, at the Casp school in Barcelona. He has also started to act as an IT trainer in Barcelona Activa. He is interested in the potential of web 2.0 tools and their use for cooperation and networking, as well as all the social, political and economic changes to which they contribute.
