With sadness we echo the death of Howard Clark. On 28th november night his heart stopped.
Clark Howard had recently collaborated with NOVACT in the development of the Certificate of Advanced Studies: International Law and Popular Nonviolent Resistance: Organizing Social Transformation.
He was Chair of the War Resisters’ International (WRI) for several years and popular nonviolent resistance always occupied a central place in his approach to life, their way of living.
Howard participated in many nonviolent and antiwar movements. He devoted a major part of its efforts to systematize and share the knowledge gained through practice, through training and the publication of numerous articles, manuals and essays.
