During the 24 and 25 October, NOVACT will be present at the United Nations accompanying the CMODH, Maghreb coordinator of human rights organizations, presenting the shadowing report that performs the civil society in the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. This report responds to the report submitted by the State of Morocco to the Human Rights Committee in view of the revision of the sixth periodic report on 18 December 2015.
This activity is part of Khotwa project, which seeks to strengthen the role of organizations working in the defense and promotion of human rights in the Maghreb. The process began with training in monitoring and reporting of human rights violations in Rabat, where over 40 representatives of civil society Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian and Mauritanian attended .
