The Palestinian human rights defender was arrested on July 3 during a nonviolent action organized by the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee to protest against the expansion of settlements in Betein.

From 13th to 20th July, it has been organized the international training course Act for Real Democracy: Training of Trainers on Social Transformation in Barcelona. A space to exchange and analyze commons dynamics, analysis, policy tools and strategies to increase the impact of social change actions of European youth.

The support of the International Institute for Nonviolent Action (NOVACT) has been basic to assist the two institutions on working together on key issues such as human rights and culture of peace.
