(CAT) The Open Shuhada Street Campaign is a Palestinian initiative aiming to organize an International Day of solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Hebron, protect the civil rights of all and to end the occupation.

On February the 26th at night Israeli settlers from Ma’ale Amos settlement attacked the Palestinian village of Kisan east in Bethlehem and demolished a house belonging to a Palestinian family of 10 members. The settlers demolished the house using hammers and partially destroyed another building belonging to the same family.

Al-Manatir was the third of a series of protest camps established by various Palestinian activists across the occupied West Bank. This camp was set up in Burin, a village in the southwest of Nablus that has been suffering settler violence and land grabs for decades.
